The Music Scene (Updated 2/13/08) 2008 Puerto Morelos Music Festival sponsored by the Casa de la Cultura is now underway with a great variety of local and visiting musicians and artist. They are held every 2 weeks on Thursday night in the downtown park. Admission is free. The dates for this year are: January 10th 8:30 pm January 24th 8:30 pm February 7th 8:30 pm February 21st 8:30 pm Photos from the event can be seen here. Tuesday Feb. 14th at 5:00 pm the 4th annual "Night of Music" will be held at the elementary school in Puerto Morelos as a fund-raising event for the school. The event will feature several local musicians and groups. The school is located 1 block north of the square next to Villas Latinas Hotel. Food, drinks, and snacks will be available. Feb 14th Cantina Habanero's will feature musician James McCloud from 6:00pm - 9:00pm . . |
